  • I don’t see the chairs that I like with the table I want

    No Problem, you can order any of the chairs in our range just email us with details of the chairs and table that you would like and we will check availability and get back to you with the price.

  • Can I buy a table with just 4 chairs?

    Yes, you can order any number of chairs. Email us with the details of the chair colour, style and how many you require and we will get back to you with availability and cost.

  • Can I buy a table on it’s own?

    Yes, we do not have photos of all tables on their own so please check the description. If you cannot find it email us with the table you are looking at and we will let you know the cost and availability.

  • Is It In Stock?

    GlassTablesAndChairs.com is one of the largest online retailers of glass top tables and chairs in the UK today.

    We receive a large number of orders online, by email and telephone every day. New deliveries are arriving almost daily in a constant effort to keep adequate stock levels to ensure a timely delivery to you, our customer.

    Due to the large number of transactions we carry out daily, our stock levels are changing by the minute making it impossible for us to provide accurate information on stock levels over the phone.

    We are in the process of upgrading our stock system and back office to enable us to provide you with instant online and offline stock information. In the meantime, please email us with the details of the items you are interested in and we will email or call you as soon as we have the updated daily stock levels.

    Note: If you order and later find that the delivery time is unacceptable you will, of course, be offered a full refund. It is rare that we are unable to meet our ‘With you in 28 days or less or delivery is free’ gurantee.

  • How Can I order?

    You can order in several different ways

    Online:- On completion of your order, you will be taken to HSBC secure system for payment. You can make payment through HSBC with a debit or credit card

    Phone: - You can order by telephone 08700 612063 and pay by any major credit or debit card. (Please note: There is a 2% charge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit cards, cheques or bank transfers).

    Email: - You can email your order to sales@glasstablesandchairs.com indicating your payment preference - Credit Card – Debit Card - Cheque – Bank Transfer – Paypal. (Note: Please do not email us your credit or debit card details. We will contact you by phone to arrange payment and delivery).

  • Can I enter a different shipping address?

    No, I am sorry, but due to the amount of online fraud the banks will only protect us if we ship to a confirmed address or the registered card holders address. If you require shipping to a different address you can pay by bank transfer or cheque. A bank transfer is the quickest form of payment and can clear in 2 or 3 days.

  • What will happen after I place my order?

    Once and order has been placed and paid for, it goes to the dispatch department where the items are picked and packed onto a pallet. This is collected by the shipping company who deliver the items to your closest depot. The depot will call you at least 24 hours beforehand to arrange a convenient date to deliver your furniture.

  • Can I cancel my order?

    Yes, you may cancel your order for a full refund if the item has not been despatched.

    If the order has left the warehouse and is en-route you will be refunded in full, less the shipping costs and collection. This is normally £80. 

 Payment

  • What payment options are available to me?

    Credit Card – You can pay over the telephone or fax using any major credit card. Please note there is a 2% surcharge on credit cards. (Your credit card statement will show a payment to ‘SofaKing’)

    Debit Card – You can pay over the phone or by fax with any major debit card. There is no surcharge for debit card payments. (Your credit card statement will show a payment to ‘SofaKing’)

    Cheque – You can pay by cheque . Make cheques payable to ‘GlassTablesAndChairs.com’

    Bank Transfer – You can do a bank transfer payment. Email, fax or phone the order making note that you wish to pay by bank transfer and we will supply you with the bank details.

  • How secure is the online order process?

    We use HSBC Secure Online Payments as well as a 128 BIT SSL Secured Site which gives you double protection. HSBC one of the most secure online payment gateways and you are also protected by your own credit card company. This gives you not only double but TRIPLE the protection. If you are, of course, able to pay by credit or debit card over the telephone you can do so if you prefer by contacting us at 08700 612 063.

  • What is the Delivery Charge?

    What is the Delivery charge? Please note that the prices indicated below are subsidised. In the event of cancellation and refund we will charge you the full cost of delivery (£80).

    England: Orders over £499 Free
      Orders below £499 £25 in England. Others areas may differ
    Scotland: Orders over £499 £25
      Orders below £499 £50

     

  • When will I receive my new table and chairs?

    We advise customers that it will be within 28 days. We try to get your products out as soon as possible. Sometimes however delays are unavoidable. If this happens we will advise you as soon as we can and you may choose to wait or cancel your order for a full refund less delivery/collection cost if your item has been dispatched. This is normally £80. If your item has not been dispatched, we will be able to refund you all monies paid.

  • What is the Delivery procedure?

    We use a specialist company to deliver your Glass furniture. Once it has been despatched from our warehouse it will be taken to your local delivery depot. They will then contact you at least 24 hours prior to delivery to arrange a convenient date to call. They do not deliver on a Saturday or Sunday. However, some depots will arrange for a Saturday delivery for an additional cost.

  • Receiving Delivery

    The carrier company will only deliver to the first available door in the property It is your responsibility to get some help once delivery has been arranged. It is advisable to arrange some help either with a family member or a friend to get the boxes inside the property. Your item/s will arrive packed in a pallet.

  • Who do I contact with enquiries about my order, payment or delivery?

    The best way to contact us is by email. The will enable us to look into your query or question and get back to you with the relevant information.

    Rest assured that we are doing all we can to get delivery of your goods to you as soon as possible and your local depot will have the contact number you provided when you ordered to call you and arrange a suitable delivery date.

    If you need to contact us with regards to a current order or delivery please email us as we are unable to help with these enquiries over the phone. Our staff will trace your order and get back to you as soon as they have the relevant information.

  • I would really like to speak with someone as I have a question or query about your products.

    You are more than welcome to call us on 08700 612 063 however, as an online e-tailer we are more geared to email and, at times the phones do get extremely busy so please be patient. If we are unable to answer your call personally, please call back. The phones are answered between 10 am and 5 pm.

  • My order has arrived and is damaged or there is part missing, what should I do?

    Your items are insured so, in the unlikely event that you find anything damaged, please take a few photos of the damaged goods and, if possible, the packing that it arrived in for insurance purposes, and email them to us with a description of the fault together with your order number and name, we will endeavor to replace the damaged items as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot take reports of damaged items over the phone.

    If you suspect that something is missing please check the packaging thoroughly in the first instance. If it is found that there are parts missing then please email us with a description of the item and we will ensure they are sent out to you by post or courier as soon as possible.

  • I have changed my mind and want my money back?

    We offer a 7 day money back gaurantee on any of the products that you buy from us. All we ask is that you pay the transport costs (appx.£80) and that the items are returned to us undamaged in their original packing within 7 days of delivery
